About Us
Welcome!! I'm Lorna "Renee" Morales, owner of Promises & Possibilities Childcares. I'm so excited you've decided to visit our page. Let me introduce our staff.
Renee Morales: I received my B.S. in Elementary Education from Ball State University. After teaching kindergarten for a couple years, I decided I wanted to have a child and stay home with them. I opened Promises & Possibilities Childcares on the east side of Indianapolis. I have a daughter and a step-daughter and all three of my grandchildren attend Promises & Possibilities Childcares. In 1995 we moved to McCordsville, where we enlarged our home and added a second childcare.
Judy Profitt: Judy has been my "right hand" for the last 17 years. A former stay at home mom of two girls and a former MVCSC bus driver, Judy is a lead teacher, childcare provider, and a major asset to our facility. She has two grandchildren who also attend our childcares.
Jesse Morales: My husband whose job closed 7 years ago. We made a mutual decision he should stay home and work alongside me at the childcares. His duties include helping cook, maintenance, and assisting wherever he is needed. He is in charge of the before and after school program and the school-agers during school breaks.
We operate two childcares at this location. Both childcares are licensed by the state of Indiana. All of our employees are CPR certified, have their First Aid certification, and have completed Safe Sleep training along with other training required by the State of Indiana for childcare licensing.
Tumbling
We provide Tumbling! All preschoolers can be enrolled in our tumbling class if you choose. **In order to be enrolled there is an extra nominal fee. Once a week our tumbling instructor, Allie Sweeney, comes into Promises & Possibilities and works with the kids for 35 minutes. The kids really enjoy Allie's equipment, that includes the bars, mini trampoline, spring boards, mats, mini balance beam and more!! Tumbling is a great way to burn energy while doing something they love!

Before & After School Program
Our before and after school program provides care for children during the school year, before and after school! We provide breakfast to all children dropped off before school. The McCordsville Elementary school bus stops at Promises & Possibilities before and after school for all McCordsville Elementary kids. We offer care for students during snow days and E-learning days as well as school vacations throughout the year. Homework-help is provided after school. All homework must be done before their play time!
Preschool
Along with caring and nurturing all of "our children", Promises & Possibilities offers a complete preschool program. All children turning 2, prior to July 31st, will be enrolled in our preschool program. Our program is geared toward kindergarten readiness.
Upon entering kindergarten each child should be able to:
--Say and recognize all letters and their sounds
--Recognize number 1-10
--Count to 100
--Know 8 basic shapes
--Know 8 basic colors
--Know his/her birthday
--Know his/her address
--Know his/her phone number
--Read approximately 55 words
--Know the days of the week
--Use scissors correctly
--Write his/her first, middle, and last name
--Sit in a chair correctly
--Use proper manners
--Be courteous to others
****Remember that all children are different and achieve goals at different paces!
